Brown Ankle Boots

It is a dark blue coat with brown boots and blue go together?

If that's navy blue with a coating that stops shortly after my hips. I'd probably wear dark jeans and Brown Suede Boots. It sounds very strange to me, but I would like to know the opinion others. (:
